I just received an advance peek at what the front cover of my short-story collection, Back Burning, will look like. So here it is. The image uses a work called “Fiery Sun” which was created in July 2001 by Sharon Ratheiser, an English artist in Vienna. It’s in water colour and black ink and measures 28×46 cms. I’ve always loved the original and was so happy when Sharon agreed to letting it be used for the cover of my book to be published by Interactive Press in Queensland, Australia.
Very excited! Well, I was just lucky that you gave me the time of day way back when. Thanks. BTW, I love that cover too.
Should be out in the Northern Autumn. I’m launching it 8 December in Sydney. Would be honoured to send you a signed copy – you were the first editor to publish me online way back when.
That’s great, Sylvia! I can’t wait to read it. When can I order my copy?
