And I woke up today to the May issue of Ether Magazine with, on page 6, a contribution on my souk. Maybe I should have burned all that brain furniture – gets in the way of haiku. But that furniture ‘s an antidote to writer’s block, so … and it’s let me be part of the fiction issue.
I was pleased to see extracts from Lewis Crofts‘ novel on Egon Schiele, The Pornographer of Vienna, as well as a review of Campbell Jefferys‘ The Bicycle Teacher. I have both books since Lewis is a MySpace writing friend and fellow Aussie Campbell I met at the recent Geneva Writer’s Conference; I also have windows of time coming up to read them.
Ta for the good words on my souk, Lewis.OK, I’ll have a go at the random thingies. If anything it’ll bring up some prompts for writing exercises.Best,Sylvia
