Sunday evening I popped by the Weinhaus Sittl for the globalised
Kasperl (Punch & Judy?) pocket-size world theatre show. Carina Nekolny wrote the script and directed the 45-minute performance with Franz Mayr as Kasperl, Susanna Binder as Gretel, Robert Kafenda as Magister, the Devil and the policeman, and Jakob Nekolny attending to the music. It was a cheeky and fun performance on a shoestring as part of the 10th anniversary celebrations of Soho in Ottakring.
