I was recently made aware of the fact that one of my poems appears word-for-word on a blog somewhere out in the wild. I got a bit cranky when I saw that it hadn’t been posted as my poem, but as someone else’s. FWIW, I wrote to the site asking for the attribution to be corrected. Anyway, can’t stay cranky for long, and the poem did get nice feedback, so that was good. But, I thought I should perhaps do something constructive, so I’ve put a Creative Commons Licence on my blogbook work. Basically, what this means is that my work can go all over the place, but it should be attributed to me.
